Patchwork of delicately patterned vintage kasuri hemp and ramie fabric and ivory linen. The quilt is backed using cream cotton and is self bound - meaning it has been finished by folding the back of the quilt to the front. The patchwork has been pieced together by machine and the quilting applied by hand.
Hand-dyed, hand-woven and vintage materials with natural colour variations and textures have been used and add to the quilt’s unique quality.
Cotton wadding has been used for the in-between layer.
Made to be used for warmth, draped over furniture or hung on the wall.
Due to the potential colour transference this quilt cannot be machine washed or soaked in water. Spot cleaning and occasional airing is recommended. Detailed instructions will be provided with the quilt.
